At least 20 grams per day. It is recommended to consume it cold, 2 tablespoons or so.

 

We recommend consuming it in a cool place at an optimum temperature of 15 degrees Celsius, and at room temperature within 90 days after opening the bottle to obtain maximum benefit.

What are the Benefits of High Phenolic Olive Oil?

 

More than two thousand years ago, Hippocrates and Dioscorides called early harvest high phenolic olive oil medicinal.

EU (EU) 432/2012 Labeling Health Declaration for Polyphenols description:

Olive oil polyphenols contribute to the protection of blood lipids from oxidative stress. The claim can only be used for olive oils containing at least 5 mg of hydroxytyrosol and its derivatives (e.g. oleuropein complex and tyrosol) per 20 g of olive oil. In order for the claim to be met, the consumer must be informed that the beneficial effect is achieved with a daily intake of 20 g of "high phenolic" olive oil.

Modern science has identified certain phenolic compounds found in high-phenolic olive oils that are health-protective.

It also continues to investigate the effectiveness of these biophenols for the prevention and treatment of many of today's chronic diseases, including rheumatoid arthritis, obesity, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, Type II Diabetes, and cancer.

The International Olive Council (IOC) still adopts the HPLC method for Polyphenol Measurement in this technological era.

Whereas;

The HPLC method is not sufficient to measure polyphenols for the EU health claim labeling regulation 432/2012. The regulation does not mention tyrosol equivalents, it says tyrosol derivatives. The IOC (HPLC) method cannot measure tyrosol derivatives. qNMR measures each of the polyphenols at their appropriate concentration. HPLC is a general chromatographic approximation of phenolic content, not a quantitative measurement.

There is a lot of misinformation claiming otherwise in the olive oil market.
